Acetate Renew
Acetate Renew is an innovative material obtained through an advanced recycling process that combines bio‑based cellulose with certified recycled components. It maintains the same performance as traditional acetate color, durability, premium finish while reducing the use of new fossil resources. It is a sustainable choice that does not compromise aesthetics or quality.
Bio‑Based Nylon
The SPLU82 and SPLU83 models use bio‑based nylon lenses, composed of 39% resin derived from castor plants. The production process reduces environmental impact while ensuring the same optical performance as conventional lenses.
The SPLU84 model features Zeiss Sustainable Polyamide lenses, with 39% bio‑based content obtained from organic waste. Production using 100% renewable energy enables a 50% reduction in CO₂ emissions.
R-PET
r‑PET is a polymer obtained from the transformation of 100% recycled plastic bottles. Using it in the frames significantly reduces waste and the emissions associated with the production of virgin plastic.
